Our task is to develop procedures that will be used to deploy willing, able, and approved MRC volunteers outside their local jurisdiction as part of the Federal response to large-scale national emergencies. The goal is to ensure that MRC members who deploy are fully and seamlessly integrated as part of the Federal response for public health and medical disasters. Reporting Local Deployment ActivitiesAs MRC units could possibly be called into service at any given moment within their own community, it is important to stress the need to provide accurate and up-to-date information about your unit’s activities. The Office of the Civilian Volunteer Medical Reserve Corps (OCVMRC) uses this information to promote understanding of the MRC concept and raise awareness of the MRC network amongst senior leaders and other stakeholders.
